Poema brandies are produced using a distillation column from the renowned German company Kothe Destillationstechnik, whose equipment is globally recognized for its reliability, precision, and efficiency.
Thanks to this technology, we can perform controlled single distillation, which preserves the natural aromas and purity of the raw material without the need for multiple distillations.
The result is a brandy with a distinct character, full aroma, and a long finish.

Dejan Debeljaković, an oenologist and engineer of technological sciences, is our lead technologist and has been part of the Poema team since the very beginning. Dejan is one of the most experienced brandy production experts in Serbia.
He honed his skills as the technical director at Rubin Distillery, where he produced a record 1.7 million distillates in a single day, tasting up to 45 samples daily—what a wonderful job! Through collaboration with Dejan, Poema strikes a balance between science and instinct, experience and innovation.
